William Vale and Sons sterling silver hallmarked needle case

Sterling silver needle case. Clearly hallmarked as per photos - W.V & S into an oblong chamfered rectangle (William Vale & Sons) date letter "r" for 1916, Anchor for Birmingham and Lion Passant. 5cm long, 6cm including the loop which is also stamped as sterling silver with just the lion passant. Lovely patina uncleaned. Lids closed firmly and hinge works well.
